Core Curricula for AI-related roles
Educational Profiles and Specific Curricula for AI Roles
The “Core Curricula” report outlines the development of educational profiles and curricula to address AI skill gaps across Europe. It aims to provide a structured approach for upskilling and reskilling individuals in AI roles, addressing both technical and managerial skill requirements. It uses a qualitative, collaborative methodology to create a set of 15 curricula, split into profiles for AI professionals and AI managers. Each profile specifies Program Learning Outcomes and Unit Learning Outcomes, aligned with the European Qualification Framework (EQF). This foundational guide is designed to support educators, industry, and policymakers in implementing effective AI training programs adaptable across different educational contexts in Europe.
Annexes to the report provide example curricula for each technical (AI professionals) and non-technical (AI managers) profile.
